High School:
Nikki has been recognized as being the top player of her city, and was in the top 10 in Brazil two years ago. She has also won "The Best of the Year" award in her city two times and has won a couple national titles in Brazil. Her most memorable match took place when she was 16. She was competing in a national tournament when she became physically ill in the semifinals. Though she became ill, she still proved victorious in this brutal two set match that lasted three hours.

Personal:
Nikaelli was born in Sau Paulo, Brazil and is the daughter of Cicero Maciel and Lira Vilarouca and has one older brother, Nikolas. Nikki is a business major and is currently undecided as to her career ambitions. Her hobbies include listening to music, going out with friends, going to the movies, and going to the beach.
