Biography

2014-15 (Senior):
Gergana finished the season 11-20 in singles competition, playing most at No. 5.  Boncheva was 4-17 in doubles,  playing at No. 2 and No. 3.

2013-14 (Junior):
Gergana finished the season 8-14 in singles competiton, picking up seven wins in the dual match portion of the season. Boncheva was 3-13 in doubles, playing most at No. 3 with six different partners. She earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention honors. 

2012-13 (Sophomore):
Gergana finished the season 14-25 in singles competiton, getting four fall wins and finishing 10-11 in spring dual matches. She was 8-5 at No. 5 singles in dual matches. Boncheva had all six of her doubles wins in the spring, getting four of those at No. 3 doubles. Four of her doubles wins came with partner Susan Te.

2011-12 (Freshman):
Gergana finished the season 11-21 in singles competiton, picking up seven wins in the fall and four at dual matches. She had three of her wins at No. 4 singles in the dual match part of the season. She was 7-20 in doubles competition, but was 3-1 partnering with Regina Suarez at the St. Mary''s Invitational in October.

Personal:
Gergana was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She is the daughter of Daniela and Ilia Boncheva and is an only child. In high school, Gergana was recognized as MVP in both singles and mixed doubles. Gergana is currently undecided in terms of her major at Pacific and her post-graduate career plans. Gergana''s hobbies include listening to music, swimming, and hanging out with friends.
