Biography
2012-13 (Freshman):
In her first season at Pacific, Threw bolstered the Tigers'' depth in the sprint freestyle and backstroke events. At the Pacific Invite, she placed 14th in the 200 Back (2:13.50) and 22nd in the 100 Back (1:02.88). The UNLV Winter Invite saw Threw come in 20th in the 200 Back (2:10.90).
High School:
Threw graduated from Saugus High School in Saugus where she swam for the Centurions. She finished her high school career with top marks of 1:01 in the 100 Back and 2:08 in the 200 Back.
Personal:
Threw was born in Santa Clarita, and is the daughter of Tom and Kim Threw. She has an older brother, James, who plays baseball at Menlo College. A sports medicine major, she enjoys listening to music in her spare time.
