Biography

2015-16 (Senior):
Wourms started her senior season with a season record in the Big Wave Invitational, getting seventh place overall with her time of 19:07.1.  She paced the Tigers in the Erik Anderson Invite with her time of 22:33.24, the fourth-best time in program history.  At the NCAA Regionals, Wourms ran a 22:52.4, second-best among the Tigers behind only Becky Grabow.

2014-15 (Junior):
Wourms set a new Pacific program and personal record in the 6K distance at the Bronco Invite on October 18 with a 6K time of 21:43.1, besting her previous program and career high of 22:08 set at the NCAA West Regional in 2013. She became the first Pacific cross country athlete to break the 22:00 minute barrier in a 6K race. The record time, set at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, Calif, was bested two weeks later on the same course at the WCC Championships on November 1st, as Wourms finished in 21:25.2, good for 32nd overall while pacing the Tigers to an eighth place finish in the team competition. Along with teammates Knipper and Grabow, Wourms was named Pacific''s competitor of the month for October.

Track 2014:
Wourms started off the season with a personal best in the 2 Miles at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, finishing eighth overall with a 12:10.56a.  Wourms finished first overall in the 5000 Meters at the 2014 Chabot/CSU East Bay Legacy Invite, finishing in at 19:23.62a.

2013-14 (Sophomore):
Wourms once again provided a spark for the Tigers, besting her previous school record in the 6K three times in 2013, breaking the mark at the WCC Preview Meet with a time of 22:15.24 and eventually setting the new mark of 22:08 at the NCAA West Regional Championships in November. Wourms'' top 5K time of the year came in the Inter-Region Jamboree in October, where she finished in 18:36.20. The sophomore already holds the top five times in Pacific history in the 6K, as well as the top spot in the 5K distance.

Track 2013:
Wourms finished third in the 3000m at the Delta Preview Meet to start the season before running a 10:57.09 in the 3000m at the Aggie Open. At the Johnny Mathis Invitational, Wourms paced Pacific in the 3000m steeplechase with a 12:01.10. Wourms led Pacific in the 5K at the Woody Wilson Invite with a time of 18:57.98 to finish her freshman season.

2012-13 (Freshman):
Wourms was a consistent force for the Tigers in 2012. She clocked in with her best 5K at the Bronco Invite with a school record 18:23. Then she added a school record in the 6K the following week, clocking in with a 22:24 at the Big West Championships. Wourms opened the season with a freshman 5K record at the USF XC Invite with a time of 18:49. She followed the opening week''s performance by setting the freshman record for a 6K in her next race at the Humboldt State Invite.

High School:
Wourms was a four-year member of the Varsity Cross Country Team for Camas High School. She also competed on the softball team and ran track for a pair of seasons.

Personal:
Lindsay is the daughter of Scott and Lisa, she has three siblings Kelly, Jennifer and Adam. At Pacific she is studying biological sciences. When she is not running she enjoys photography, competing in triathlons, skiing and camping.
