2020 (Sophomore)
Competed in five competitions in the 2020 season. Posted a 12:00 3k in the On Your Marks Collegiate Opener, a 21:49.1 5k in the Jessup Invitational, a 21:18.9 5k in the Sunshine Opener. Tanji also ran at the WCC championships and the Westmont Classic. 

2019 (Freshman)
Competed in four races for the Tigers in her debut season, cutting down her 6K time with each race passed. Made her collegiate debut at the Big Wave Invitational.

High School
Was a three-sport athlete at 'Ionali School in Honolulu, competing in cross country, junior varsity soccer, and judo while earning the Alumni Award as the top female athlete in her graduating class. Ran cross country all four years for the Raiders under head coach Lauran Yard. Set a 2 Mile PR and seventh-lowest time in school history of 13:00 at the 'Iolani 2 Mile Challenge, a three-mile PR of 20:35.8 at the 2015 Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH) Championships, and a 5k PR of 20:25.1 at the 2018 ILH League Meet. Was named valedictorian of her 2019 graduating class as a member of the Cum Laude Society. Named to Headmaster's List and was the top student in Japanese both in four years.
