High School
An Arizona native, Wine is a 2016 graduate of Sunnyslope High School. As a junior, Wine was a finalist for PrepVolleyball''s National Junior of the Year. She earned PrepVolleyball All-America honors as well as all-state and all-region honors for her play in leading the Vikings to their second-straight Arizona State Division II Championship. Led by Wine, Sunnyslope posted an impressive 40-5 overall record and finished a perfect 13-0 in league play. She was just as impressive as a sophomore as she led the Vikings to their first state title while earning all-state Prep Volleyball Soph 79 "High Honorable Mention" list honors as a sophomore. As a senior, Wine and the Vikings fell in the semifinals of the state tournament after dropping a tough five-set match to the top-seeded and nationally ranked Desert Vista Thunder. Sunnyslope gave up its chance for a three-peat in the state tournament in 2015 as the Vikings moved up to Division I in 2015. Despite the loss in the state tournament, the Vikings took home their third straight league title going a perfect 9-0 as Wine and her fellow Sunnyslope seniors went out riding a 38-match league winning streak having been perfect in league for three-straight seasons.
