2014:
Picking up where she left off, Schulz resumed her role as the Tigers'' top sand player as she teamed up with newcomer Lexi Elman as the No. 1 pair for Pacific. Taking on the best of the best, Schulz finished the year 8-3 at the top spot, just missing out on a return to the national championships at the end of the season. She pushed her overall record to 14-4 at the No. 1 spot in the regular season.

2013:
Kat played on the Tigers'' No. 1 team in Pacific''s inaugural season alongside of senior Hannah Clancy. For the season, Schulz and Clancy proved to be one of the top pairs in the nation as the duo earned a spot in the 2013 AVCA Collegiate Sand Volleyball National Championships. During the regular season, the pair proved to be Pacific''s most fearsome pairing as the duo ran through the NorCal Consortium en route to a 6-1 overall record. Paired together in Pacific''s third match of the season, the Tigers'' top pair immediately came together, winning their first match of the season in run-away fashion at Sacramento State on Mar. 23. Playing as if they had played together for years, the duo went on to win their first five matches together, dropping just two sets during their run. After falling for the first time in a three-set marathon at Stanford, Clancy and Schulz rebounded to take down Dodd and Shaw, the top team from the No. 9 ranked Gaels of Saint Mary''s to finish out the regular season. At the championships, the two picked up a victory over UAB''s top pair in three sets on Saturday, May 4. In her first year, Schulz finished the regular season with 111 kills to go along with 66 digs, 11 blocks, and 25 aces.
