2014:
In her second season in the sand, Howard was one half of the Tigers'' most successful team in 2014 as she and her partner, Mia Feiner, posted a 10-1 mark on the court playing at No. 3. Howard and Feiner were dominant in the middle of the lineup for the Tigers as the pair played perfectly off of one another to run off nine-straight wins before suffering their first and only loss of the year. The lone blemish for Howard and Feiner came to the eventual national champions, No. 2 Pepperdine.

2013:
Howard spent time in both the No. 2 and No. 3 spots for the Tigers in her first season, playing alongside of freshman Mia Feiner and sophomore Anne-Sophie Bauer. She picked up her first sand pair win against Sacramento State on Mar. 23 as she and Feiner won at the No. 3 spot, 21-19, 21-10. For the year, Howard recorded 112 kills while posting nine blocks and a team-best 36 aces. In her first-ever sand match, she posted a team season-best 23 kills while also recording a season-best four blocks. Against San Francisco on April 7, she tagged the Dons for a season-high eight aces.
