Megan Birch

Megan Birch enters her first year as the Tigers' beach volleyball assistant coach. She is also the Tigers' Director of Volleyball Operations for the indoor program where she has spent the last two years after a standout four-year career as an outside hitter for the Tigers.

As a player, Birch proved to be a deadly arm for the Tigers on the pins as she finished her career as the 21st member of the 1,000 kill club posting 1,082 career kills to rank 18th overall in program history. She twice earned tournament MVP honors throughout her career in non-conference tournament play while also earning her first Big West Player of the Week award in 2012 as a junior. Off the court, Megan was a standout in the classroom as she earned three academic all-conference awards, taking home the honor in every year in which she was eligible. Birch graduated in 2014 with a degree in communication and design.
