Katie Walker, a nine-season veteran as an NCAA Division I assistant coach, joined the Pacific volleyball staff in March 2022. She has responsibilities for both indoor and beach volleyball. Most recently, Walker completed her third season as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Drake Bulldogs in the competitive Missouri Valley Conference.
 
Prior to Drake, Walker spent a year as a volunteer assistant for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (2018), two years on the staff at Seattle (2016-17) and a year at Middle Tennessee State (2015).
 
Walker, who was a three-year member of the Idaho State volleyball program, earned Big Sky Conference All Academic honors in 2011. She got her start in coaching as a graduate assistant at Northern Kentucky for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. While coaching for the Norse, she earned a master’s degree in education, graduating in 2015. She earned a bachelor’s degree in human exceptionality from Idaho State in 2013.
