Alex Holt joined Pacific beach volleyball's coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach prior to the 2020 season after a four-year career with the Tigers' beach and indoor teams.
Holt played three years of varsity volleyball for  Monterey Trail High School in Elk Grove. She graduated in 2014 after leading the Mustangs to back-to-back Delta Valley Conference titles in 2011-12 and 2012-13. As an outside hitter for the Mustangs, Alexandra earned All-DVC honors in each of her final two seasons while also being named the co-MVP of the conference as a senior in 2013-14.
