Junior (2014-15)
An All-West Coast Conference Second Team selection, Eackles started 27 of 30 games. She averaged 11.9 points per game, second on Pacific and 17th in the WCC. Connected on 37 percent from three point range, 10th in the WCC, with an average of 2.2 made threes per game, which was fifth in the WCC. Eackles scored in double-figures in 19 of 30 games, including 17 of 27 starts. Hit double-figures in 14 of 17 WCC games, and in her final seven games of the season. Closed the season with 11 consecutive games with a three-pointer made. Turned in two games with 20 or more points, posting 21 in an overtime win at Saint Mary’s (Jan. 10) and a season-high 24 at UC Davis (Nov. 29). Against Saint Mary’s (Jan. 24), Eackles drained six three-pointers on 12 attempts, and nailed the game-winner with 18.7 seconds left in overtime as Pacific won 88-86 on the road. Added two late three-pointers, including the game-winner with 22 seconds left against Portland (Jan. 22) as she finished with 18 points in a Tigers victory. Handed out a season-high five assists against Gonzaga (Jan. 24). Tallied six and-ones in 2014-15, including four on three-point attempts. She missed one game (at San Francisco) and came off the bench in the next three games others due to injury.
Redshirt Sophomore (2013-14)
Appeared in all 31 games with 19 starts in 2013-14. Averaged 9.1 points per game and shot 37 percent from the field. Averaged 12 points per game as a starter. Set or tied a new career high in scoring on five separate occasions, first with 11 points off the bench against Hawai''i (Dec. 15), which she tied against Gonzaga (Dec. 30). Tallied 14 points in her first career start, at BYU (Jan. 2) hitting a then career-best three three-pointers. At Santa Clara (Jan. 11) she sprung for 17 points before posting 22 against Saint Mary''s (Jan. 25). Scored in double-figures in 14 of 31 games, and in 11 of 19 starts. Grabbed a career-best seven rebounds against Portland in the WCC quarterfinals (Mar. 7). Handed out four assists against Arizona (Nov. 23) and recorded four steals against Notre Dame de Namur (Nov. 30). Scored four-point plays on three occasions. Drained 50 three-pointers in a season (the 25th time in Pacific history a player has hit 50 threes in a campaign). Shot .360 from three-point range, which ranked eighth in the West Coast Conference. Her 1.6 threes made per game was 10th in the WCC.
Redshirt Freshman (2012-13)
Appeared in 26 games averaging 5.2 minutes per contest. Scored 46 points in 136 minutes. Registered seven steals, five assists and 23 rebounds. Scored a career-high 10 points in 15 minutes of action against CSU Bakersfield (Dec. 31). Scored six points in her season debut at Eastern Washington (Nov. 11). Added five points in the Tigers'' WNIT First Round win over UALR (March 22). Grabbed a career-high six rebounds and added a career-best two steals against CSU Bakersfield (Dec. 31). Handed out a pair of assists against Santa Clara (Dec. 20). Ten of her 23 rebounds came on the offensive glass. With 46 points in 136 minutes, averaged 13.5 points per 40 minutes.
Redshirt (2011-12)
Redshirted her freshman season following ankle surgery in November. Played nine minutes in the Tigers'' opener at Fairfield, with one rebound, one assist. Hit one of two free throws to finish the season with one point in her lone appearance.
High School
Eackles, a 5-9 All-State guard from Pinewood High School in Los Altos, Calif., earned her second-straight D-5 State Player of the Year award as she led Pinewood (28-5) to a second-straight Division V state championship last week, scoring 31 points in the title game against St. Bernard, her third 30-point game of the tournament and eighth 30-point outburst of the season.
She wrapped her senior campaign with San Francisco Chronicle and Mercury News Player of the Year honors, after averaging 26.7 and 10.4 rebounds in seven postseason games, carrying the Panthers to CCS, NorCal and state titles.
The co-Most Valuable Player of the West Bay League, Eackles averaged 23.7 points per game with 7.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals per contest for the season. Her senior year finished much like her junior, as she repeated as San Francisco Chronicle Metro Player of the Year, D-5 State Player of the Year, and West Bay League MVP.
As a junior, she averaged 16.3 points per game to go with 9.2 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.1 assists per game.
The 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Metro Player of the Year, D5 State Player of the Year, and West Bay League MVP, Eackles led the Panthers to the CIF State championship, by posting 16 points and seven rebounds in the final against St. Anthony-Long Beach after a 24-point, 10-rebound performance in the semifinals.
Eackles played under legendary coach Doc Scheppler at Pinewood, and will lead the Panthers in search of Scheppler’s fifth state championship in her senior season.
