Amanda Brown

Amanda Brown joined the Pacific women's basketball staff in the summer of 2017. The 2023-24 season is her seventh season on the Tiger staff.

Prior to Pacific, Brown was an assistant coach for the Santa Clara women's basketball, starting with the 2013-14 season. As an assistant, Brown worked on player development with the guards, handled the team scouting reports and was an integral piece in recruiting. She started with the Broncos as the Director of Basketball Operations and camp director from 2010 to 2013. In that role, she assisted with game film, operated film exchange and analyzed statistics. She also managed logistical and administrative details for game travel, recruiting, marketing and all fundraising efforts before being promoted.

Brown started her women's basketball coaching career as the Director of Operations at Gonzaga for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. During her time with the Bulldogs, she worked with the coaching staff on scheduling, planning travel, game film, scout preparation and practice preparation. She was also the women's basketball camp coordinator during her time in Spokane.

Brown also played women's basketball at Gonzaga, winning three West Coast Conference titles from 2007 to 2009 (before the Tigers joined the WCC). She served as a key reserve and defensive specialist under head coach Kelly Graves. In 2008-09, she earned an athletic scholarship after being a walk-on and was selected as the team's co-captain. Brown was also a member of the first Gonzaga women's team to advance to the NCAA Tournament in 2007 and the first team to advance to the second round in 2009.

Brown was also a coxswain for the Gonzaga women's rowing team in 2007, helping guide the Zags' crew team to nationals. While with the Bulldogs, she was a member of Gonzaga Athletes Mentoring for Excellence (G.A.M.E.) and was a coach for the Spokane Midnight Basketball Association.

As a product of St. Francis High School in Sacramento, she graduated from Gonzaga with a bachelor of arts in English in 2009. Brown then received her master's degree in organizational leadership in 2011.
