Biography

2013-14 (Junior):
In his first season after transfering, Williams primarily was a sprinter for the Tigers in the Free and Fly events. He came up with one of the top times int he 100 Fly at the MPSF Championships as he touched at 48.98 to finish in seventh place overall. In the 100 Free, his prelim time of 46.06 was his best of the year, while he finished in 12th after a finals time of 56.15.

High School:
Trent graduated from Terra Linda High School in 2010 where he was a two-sport athlete in both swimming and water polo. As a four-year letterwinner as a swimmer, Williams was one of the top swimmers in the Main County Athletic League as he took home the league championship in the 100 Fly in 2007. Additionally, Trent took home a North Coast Section title in the 50 Free in 2010 as a senior with a time of 20.71 at the section championships to earn All-America consideration. In addition, Williams was part of the MCAL record 200 medley record team at the championships that posted a time of 1:36.64.

Personal:
Thomas Trent Williams was born in San Francisco, Calif., and is the son of Diana and Scott Williams. He has one younger brother, R.J. He is pursuing a degree in environmental studies.
