Biography

2012-13 (Junior):
Stuhr impressed during his first season at Pacific, highlighted by a 12th-place finish in the 200 Free (1:38.81) at the 2013 MPSF Championships. A strong freestyler in all distances, he took sixth in both the 200 Free (1:44.30) and the 1650 Free (16:57.32) at the Pacific Invite. At the UNLV Winter Invite, Stuhr came in fourth in the 1650 Free (16:22.57), seventh in the 500 Free (4:42.50) and 10th in the 200 Free (1:42.15). 

Junior College:
Stuhr swam two seasons at Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, where he earned All-America honors for the Bear Cubs. He collected MVP honors as both a freshman and sophomore, and lists the Big 8 Conference Championships in his freshman season as his most memorable meet after swimming the 1650 Free in a time of 15:31.43.

High School:
Stuhr prepped at Maria Carrillo High School in Santa Rosa, where he swam for the Pumas. He earned MVP honors as a senior.

Personal:
Stuhr was born in Santa Rosa and is the son of Christopher and Barbara Stuhr. He has five siblings, Allison, Amy, Jennifer, Tim and Eric. Allison swam for San Diego State from 2009-2011. Stuhr will pursue a degree in communication and lists his hobbies as longboarding, hiking and reading.
