Biography
2012-13 (Freshman):
Brasali swam the backstroke and IM for Pacific in his first season, highlighted by a 19th-place finish in the 200 IM (1:52.61) and a 20th-place finish in the 100 Back (50.57) at the 2013 MPSF Championships. He took third in both the 200 Back (1:53.53) and the 200 IM (1:54.28) at the UNLV Winter Invite. The Pacific Invitational saw Brasali record top-10 finishes in the 100 Back (52.95), the 200 Back (1:58.57) and the 400 IM (4:12.69).
High School:
Brasali graduated from Bullard High School in Fresno, where he swam for the Knights. He was an All-Central Metro Athletic Conference selection his final three seasons and earned MVP honors, as well. He took home CIF titles in the 100 Back and the 200 IM at the 2012 meet behind times of 51.56 and 1:53.30, respectively.
Personal:
Brasali was born in Fresno and is the son of Himawan and Liliana Brasali. He has an older sister, Hania. A mechanical engineering major, Brasali enjoys hanging out with friends.
