Biography
High School:
A 2013 graduate of Mt. Carmel HS in San Diego, Calif., Evan was a four-year letterwinner in swimming for the Sun Devils. With Townsend in the pool, Mt. Carmel took home four-consecutive Valley League titles as well as winning three-of-four CIF titles (2010, 2011, 2013). In the pool, Evan posted record times of 49.10 in the 100 Free while marking a 1:46.19 in the 200 Free.
Personal:
Evan Townsend was born in Glen Ridge, N.J., and is the son of Maureen and Walter Townsend. He has one younger brother, Vincent. He is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.
