2015-16 (Redshirt Senior):
In his final year at Pacific, Presswood made the All-Academic Team in conference for his work in the classroom. He was on Pacific''s 800 Free Relay team, which swa a 6:28.52 and was named Second Team All-MPSF. Individually, he made All-MPSF Second Team in the 100 Back with a 48.97 and the 200 Back with a 1:46.85. He also was honored for his 200 Fly performance, where he swam a 1:49.12. Presswood actually bested that 200 Fly time earlier in the year when he swam a 1:48.70, second-best amongst all Tigers this year.
2014-15 (Senior):
Presswood used his redshirt this season.
2013-14 (Junior):
Presswood primarily swam distance events for the Tigers. He had the second-best time on the team in the 500 Free with a 4:31.30. He also put up times on 9:53.05 in the 1000 Free and 16:01.24 in the 1650 Free. Presswood swam a 1:48.33 in the 200 Back, the third-best time on the Tigers.
2012-13 (Sophomore):
Presswood recorded a pair of top-20 finishes at the 2013 MPSF Championships, clocking in at 4:31.05 in the 500 Free and 1:50.53 in the 200 Back, good for 18th and 19th, respectively. He recorded two eighth-place finishes at the Pacific Invite, finishing with times of 1:44.71 in the 200 Free and 1:56.98 in the 200 Back. At the UNLV Winter Invite, Presswood placed fifth in the 500 Free (4:37.64) and sixth in the 200 Back (1:56.31).
2011-12 (Freshman):
In his first season at Pacific, Presswood provided depth for the Tigers in the mid-distance freestyle and backstroke events. His best showing came against conference foe UC Santa Barbara when he placed second in the 200 Back and third in the 500 Free. He added a second third-place finish in the 200 Back versus Fresno Pacific and UC Santa Cruz to go along with a pair of sixth-place finishes in the 200 Free and the 500 Free at the same meet. At the 2012 MPSF Championships, Presswood recorded a pair of top-24 finishes, placing 22nd in the 500 Free with a time of 4:40.66 before taking 23rd in the 200 Back behind a time of 1:55.15. His preliminary times of 4:34.90 and 1:53.41 ranked first on the team in the 500 Free and third in the 200 Back, respectively.
High School:
Presswood graduated from Yuba City High School in Yuba City, Calif., where he swam and played basketball. He was his swim team’s MVP. Presswood was also the president of his school’s Interact Club.
Personal:
Presswood was born in Yuba City, Calif., and is the son of John and Kathy Presswood. He has three older sisters, Tamara, April, and Kristen, and one younger sister, Amanda. Presswood enjoys playing basketball in his free time and is majoring in engineering.
