2016 (Senior):
Brink served a vital role off the bench for Pacific, playing in 28 games. Brink earned 19 starts as well. She had six runs and five RBI on the year. She had two multi-hit games: on April 17 at Saint Mary''s Brink went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and on May 12 at Loyola Marymount she went 2-for-3. On March 22, Brink scored two runs against Iona. Brink had two doubles on the season.
2015 (Junior):
Brink appeared in 20 games for the Orange and Black in 2015, making five starts as the designated player. Appearing primarily as a pinch hitter and pinch runner, Brink tallied one hit on the season, a double in a start against Montana on March 1st. She recorded a bases-loaded walk in a win over CSU Bakersfield on Feb 21 to pick up an RBI.
2014 (Sophomore):
Brink saw time in 33 games, with 23 starts as a designated player for the Tigers. Taylor recorded 13 hits in 69 at-bats, tallying 8 RBI. She recorded four extra-base hits including a grand slam against Princeton on March 19, her first career slam. Multi-hit contests included the triumph over Princeton and a pair of singles at Cal State Northridge on March 23.
2013 (Freshman):
Platooning at second base and as the Tigers'' designated player, Taylor saw her first season at Pacific cut short due to injury just nine games into the conference season. Prior to her injury, Brink had played in 31 games with 28 starts. She hit .241 with four extra-base hits including hitting her first collegiate home run against Northern Colorado at Baylor on Feb. 16. In conference play, Brink was beginning to hit her stride as she posted a .300 average in nine games while tallying six hits including picking up a triple.
High School:
A local product from just down the road, Brink graduated from St. Mary''s high school after a distinguished career in the infield for the Rams. A four-year starter for the Rams, Brink led her team to three Tri-City League championships in four years. A three-time All-League selection, including earning First Team honors as both a junior and senior, Brink has proven to be a potent offensive threat for the Rams throughout her career. In 2012 as a senior, Taylor earned All-Area honors for the second consecutive season and was named the All-Area Offensive Player of the Year as she hit .436 with 26 RBI, three home runs and 12 doubles. She was selected to play in the 22nd Annual All-Star Classic at the end of her senior season where she was named one of the game''s outstanding players. The year prior as a junior, Brink posted a .511 batting average and a .571 on-base percentage while tallying 29 runs, 25 RBI, 11 doubles and five home runs, all of which were team bests at the plate. On the club level, Brink led her RR Gold 18U team to the 2012 IFA National Championship.
Personal:
Taylor Brink was born in Stockton, Calif. and is the daughter of Stephanie and Ed Brink. In her fourth year at Pacific, Taylor is majoring in communication.
