Previous School (North Carolina Central):
Prior to coming to Pacific, Franceschetti spent one season at North Carolina State where he played in 43 games starting 38 and ended up with a .240 batting average with 31 hits, seven doubles, 18 runs scored, a home run, and 20 RBI. In MEAC play he batted .281 (18-for-64), which was fourth on the team, with five doubles, 13 walks, a home run, and 17 RBI. Franceschetti recorded seven multi-hit games including a 3-for-4 effort on the road at NC A&T on April 6 with two runs scored and a RBI. He finished the year 2-for-3 in stolen bases and was walked 19 times.
Previous School (Delta JC):
Prior to NCCU, Franceschetti spent two years in Stockton at Delta JC. He was honored on the First Team All-Area squad and was named the Defensive Player of the year on the CCCAA State Championship squad in 2011.
High School:
A 2010 graduate of Escalon, Franceschetti played two seasons for the Cougars as he led the team to back-to-back Trans Valley League championships. In addition to league titles, Franceschetti and the Cougars took home a section title in 2010. In two seasons, Escalon posted a 51-4 overall record and a 28-2 league record. As a junior, Franceschetti was named the league''s Defensive MVP while as a senior he was named the league''s MVP as well as earning all-district and all-area honors. He earned the awards as a senior after posting a .415 average with 37 RBI and 31 runs scored while tallying 17 extra-base hits.
