Armagost, one of the most decorated players in program historyboth inside the circle and from the batters box, joined the PacificSoftball staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the 2014 seasonfollowing an illustrious career for the Orange and Black and willcontinue into the 2014-15 campaign as a Volunteer Assistant afterthe completion of her degree work.
Her honors as a player include NFCA All-America honors in 2012,four straight selections to the All-Big West first team(2010-2013), Big West Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2011and 2012 and Big West Freshman Pitcher of the Year honors in 2010.Armagost is fourth in Pacific history in batting average (.354) andhits (236), while ranking second in doubles (61) and third in RBIs(151) and total bases (339).
From the circle, Armagost is sixth all time in program historyin pitcher wins (55), innings (606) and starts (95) while tossing60 complete games and 13 shutouts in her four year career. Shetallied 428 strikeouts, good for fourth in Pacific history whilemaintaining a .991 fielding percentage, good for third in programhistory.

Nicole Armagost was born in Wichita, Kan., and is the daughter ofDeann and Steve Armagost. She has two older brothers, Drew andKyle. Nikki earned her bachelors degree in education in the fall of2012 before beginning a masters program alongside of earning herteaching credential from Pacific.
