2009 (RS Freshman):
Richard saw limited action, appearing in three games during his first season. He notched his lone goal of the season in Pacific's 19-9 victory over La Verne at the Inland Empire Classic.

2008 (Freshman):
Richard redshirted his first year at Pacific.

High School:
Richard graduated from Lincoln High School in Stockton, Calif., where he was a two-sport athlete and four-time letter winner in water polo and swimming. Dietrich was named the team's most valuable player, as well as being named the San Joaquin Athletic Association's MVP in the same year. Dietrich received the Stockton Record Charles Washington Award for Water Polo, a prestigious honor given to those who perform strongly in the pool.

Personal:
Richard Dietrich is the son of Joe and Denise Dietrich, and has two older brothers Joseph, a Pacific graduate, and Thomas. His father, Joe, played water polo at Pacific and was inducted into the Pacific Hall of Fame in 1995 class. In his third year at Pacific, Richard is studying business administration.
