Biography
2015 (Junior)
An MPSF All-Academic selection, Woodbury scored six goals with four assists in 24 games played. Tied his career-high with a two-goal game against Harvard (Sept. 12). Also scored against #19 Air Force (Sept. 6), Iona (Sept. 12), Brown (Sept. 13) and #14 Bucknell (Oct. 23). Posted two assists against Iona for a career-best three points (Sept. 12) and added assists against #19 Air Force (Sept. 6) and Brown (Sept. 13). Recorded seven steals defensively.
2014 (Sophomore):
Woodbury tallied eight goals in 25 games for the Tigers in his sophomore campaign, his first at Pacific. Posted a season-high two goals in the Tigers win over Cal Lutheran (Sept. 27) at the Aggie Shootout. Scored his first Division I goal against Air Force (Sept. 7) at the Triton Invitational. Added a goal against #3 UCLA at the Kap7 NorCal Classic (Sept. 20), and another in the Tigers win over #10 Princeton at SoCal (Oct. 11). In MPSF play, Woodbury hit the back of the cage against #5 Long Beach State (Oct. 26) and #2 Stanford (Nov. 15). Also tallied in the Tigers'' MPSF Tournament contest against #12 UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 21).
Prior to Pacific (American River College):
Woodbury comes to Pacific after spending one season grey shirting at American River College.
High School:
Woodbury graduated from Rio Americano High School in Sacramento in 2012 where he played a number of positions for the Raiders. As a junior, he was a Sixth Team All-America selection and was a First Team All-CIF and First Team All-Capital Athletic League pick. He was the CIF co-Player of the Year in 2010 and led Rio Americano to CIF titles in 2010 and 2011.
