2017 (Redshirt Senior): Appeared in all 27 matches for the Orange and Black, scoring 44 goals, 35 points, and 79 points. Recorded six hat tricks on the year including a six goal, 4 assist performance in Pacific''s season opener versus Bucknell (Sept. 2). Posted a goal in 21 of the Orange and Black''s matches this season. Was the Tigers'' primary sprinter converting on 29-11 and finished second on the team in drawn exclusions with 20. Finished in the top ten in conference in goals, assists, points, sprint percentage, and was named to the All-Golden Coast Conference Tournament Team. Also an All-GCC Academic selection.
2016 (Redshirt Junior): Played in all 28 matches, scoring 16 goals while handing out 22 assists. He scored in 14 of 28 games, with four multi-goal games. He registered assists in 19 of 28 games, while handing out multiple helpers in five contests. Posted three games with three points: against No. 20 St. Francis Brooklyn (Sept. 3), No. 16 Johns Hopkins (Sept. 3), No. 14 Harvard (Sept. 3), No. 14 George Washington (Oct. 20), and San Jose State (Nov. 11).
2015 (Redshirt Sophomore):
An MPSF All-Academic selection, Scored 14 goals with 15 assists in 28 games for the Tigers. He also recorded 22 steals. Posted two multi-goal games with a career-best four goals against #8 Long Beach State (Nov. 14). Also added two goals with four assists against Cal Baptist (Sept. 25). Handed out two assists in games against Harvard and Iona (both Sept. 12).
2014 (Redshirt Freshman):
Played in 25 games, with 14 goals. He scored in 10 different games with four multi-goal performances. Ai picked up two goals in his debut against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Sept. 6) at the Triton Invite, and added another pair of goals against Air Force in the semifinals (Sept. 7). Tallied two goals in the Tigers'' 11-10 win over #10 UC Davis (Sept. 14), and added two more against #9 Pepperdine in the Tigers'' 11-7 win on Nov. 16. Also scored against #11 UC Davis (Sept. 20), #7 UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 21), Cal Lutheran (Sept. 27), #14 Santa Clara (Oct. 4), #10 Princeton (Oct. 11), and #10 UC Irvine (Oct. 18). Pacific was 8-2 in games Ai scored.
2013 (Freshman):
Ai Redshirted the 2013 season.
High School/Club:
Ai comes to Pacific after graduating from Kamehameha High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he played water polo and swam for the Warriors. He earned All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu honors all four years and was the conference''s Player of the Year as a senior. He was a part of his water polo team''s first appearance in the state championship game in over 10 years, and also won a swimming title in the 500 Free.
