Andrew Cates joined the Pacific men's and women's water polo programs for the 2025-26 season. He will be the primary person responsible for all team logistics, travel planning and operations.
Cates’ previous career stops have included Director of Operations roles at the University of Miami (FL) and the University of Kansas, and a Coordinator of Basketball Operations position at Seton Hall University.
He began working in athletics as a student manager during his undergraduate studies at Seton Hall. Cates earned three Bachelor of Arts degrees in four years during his time in South Orange.
