A three-time All-American (2012, 2015 and 2016), a two-time All-MPSF honoree, and All-GCC honoree, Aleksandar Petrovic finished his Pacific career with 147 career goals.
2016 (RS Senior)
A First Team All-American and a First Team All-Golden Coast Conference selection. Led the Tigers in scoring with 91 points, finishing with 42 goals and a team-leading 49 assists. Also tied for second on the team with 32 steals. Scored in 23 of 26 games with 14 multi-goal games. Tallied four hat tricks, including a season-high four goals in a win over No. 7 Long Beach State in the GCC Semifinals (Nov. 19). Tallied a career-best seven assists in a win over No. 14 George Washington (Oct. 20) in which he also scored two goals.
2015 (Redshirt Junior):
An ACWPC All-American Third Team, and All-MPSF Honorable Mention selection, Petrovic scored 42 goals in 28 games with 29 assists. His 1.05 goals per game was 21st in MPSF. Scored in 24 of 28 games, with 14 multi-goal games. Petrovic posted a season-high four goals against Harvard (Sept. 12) and added hat tricks against Brown (Sept. 13), #8 UC Irvine (Oct. 11) and #8 Long Beach State (Nov. 14). Drew 25 exclusions on offense with 21 steals defensively.

2013 (Sophomore):
Aleksandar Petrovic scored 21 goals in 27 games for Pacific, including five multi-goal games. He scored one goal in each of the Tigers NCAA games, tallying against Stanford in the semifinals and USC in the final. He also added two goals in Pacific''s home win over Stanford, and a pair of goals in wins over Pepperdine (at NorCal), MIT and Saint Francis Brooklyn. Petrovic also scored in the Tigers win over USC that propelled Pacific to the No. 1 ranking.
2012 (Freshman):
Petrovic burst onto the scene during his first season at Pacific, collecting Honorable Mention All-America honors from the ACWPC. He finished third on the team and 17th in the MPSF with 42 goals on the year, including 13 multi-goal games, three hat tricks and three four-goal outings. He averaged 2.75 goals per game during conference play and went for four goals against Long Beach State, UC Santa Barbara and UCLA, respectively. Petrovic''s stellar play earned him Honorable Mention All-MPSF honors.
High School/Club:
Petrovic comes to Pacific after graduating from Ann Arbor Huron High School in Ann Arbor, Mich. A member of a foreign-exchange program, he played one season of water polo for the River Rats, leading his team to a 42-2 record and earning Michigan Player of the Year honors in 2011. He tallied 175 goals, 135 assists, and 95 steals as a senior.
Petrovic has been a member of Serbia’s Junior National Team since 2008 and helped his team to a fourth-place finish in the European Junior Championships. He was named the MVP of his team in the Slovakia Tournament. Petrovic played club water polo for Partizan from 2000-2011 under head coach Igor Milanovic.
Personal:
Petrovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and is the son of Zoran and Vesna Petrovic. He has an older sister, Aleksandra, and a younger sister, Djurdjija. He lists his hobbies as social networking and reading. Petrovic will major in business and hopes to become a business owner.
