Biography

2013 (Sophomore):
Carmody became a fixture in the middle position for the Tigers in 2013. He added a team-best 108 blocks, including an MPSF-best 20 solos. The sophomore also added 147 kills on 291 swings for a percentage of .320.

2012 (Freshman):
Carmody appeared in 18 sets for the Tigers in his first collegiate season, collecting seven kills. He also added 12 total blocks, including two solos for the Tigers defense.

High School:
Carmody attended Carl Sandburg High School in Orlando Park, Ill. As a senior, he led his team to the Illinois State Championship. In a game leading up to the championship game Carmody led his team to a victory over the defending state champs with eight blocks.

Personal: 
Tommy is the son of Joe and Tammy Carmody. He has two siblings: Erin and Allison. While at Pacific, Tommy is studying Engineering, and plans to pursue a career in that field.
