University of the Pacific

2013 (Freshman):
Ross made an immediate impact in the middle for Pacific with 32 kills on just 70 swings. At the net, he also added 20 blocks, including three solos.

High School:
Ross comes to Pacific after a spectacular career at Providence Cathloic in New Lenox, Illinois. He was selected to the 2012 Volleyball Magazine Boys'' Fab 50 list presented by Mizuno. In 2011, Ross was named to the Southtown Star All-Area Team and was a third-team selection for the Chicago Sun Times All-Area Team. He led his club team to a second place finish in the 2010 USA Volleyball Junior National Championships where he was selected to the All-Tournament Team. Ross rejoined his former Ultimate Volleyball Club member and current Pacific middle blocker Tommy Carmody. He also played basketball for the Celtics in high school. 

Personal:
Marty is the son of Don and Jan, he has one sibling Amanda. He plans to study Business Administration at Pacific, and when he is not playing volleyball he enjoys sports, playing Xbox, drawing and everything about sharks.
