Biography

Junior (2010-11):
LeRoy was a First Team All-MPSF honoree in the 200 Breast and a Second Team selection in the 400 IM and the 100 Breast. He swam his way to a second-place finish in the 200 Breast at the 2011 MPSF Championships with a time of 2:03.14. LeRoy had a strong opening to the season, finishing second in the 100 Breast (59.68) at the Pacific Invite on Oct. 15. He followed that with a pair of third-place finishes in the Tri Meet on Oct. 30, clocking in at 59.90 in the 100 Breast and 2:11.04 in the 200 Breast. He had a runner-up showing in the 200 Breast (2:09.24) in the Tri Meet on Nov. 6 before claiming his first event win of the season at the Tri Meet on Jan. 22, winning the 100 Breast with a time of 59.66. LeRoy had a second-place finish in the 200 Breast (2:11.38) in the same meet.

Sophomore (2009-10):
LeRoy had an impressive first season for the Tigers, finishing sixth in both the 400 IM (4:01.99) and the 200 Breast (2:03.54) and 11th in the 100 Breast (57.31) at the 2010 Big West Championships. He was also a member of the 400 Medley Relay team that finished fourth. LeRoy earned second place in the 200 Breast against UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 30 with a time of 2:09.17. He claimed fourth in the 200 IM at the same meet, touching the wall at 2:01.23

San Joaquin Delta JC (2008-09):
LeRoy attended San Joaquin Delta Junior College in Stockton, Calif.

Navy (2007-08):
LeRoy spent his freshman year at the Naval Academy, where he both swam and played water polo. As a First Team All-Patriot League selection, he finished third in the 200 Breast, fifth in the 200 IM, and sixth in the 100 Breast at the conference championships. In water polo, LeRoy tallied two goals in six matches as Navy finished third at the NCAA Tournament.

Loyola Academy HS (‘07):
LeRoy prepped at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Ill., where he earned four letters in both swimming and water polo. In 2007, he was named his water polo team’s MVP in addition to being named Rambler of the Year in swimming.

Personal:
LeRoy was born in Chicago, Ill., and is the son of Dawn LeRoy. He is pursuing a degree in political science.
