University of the Pacific

2011-12 (Freshman):
In his first year at Pacific, Peters specialized in the distance freestyle events for the Tigers. He earned a pair of fourth-place finishes, one each in the 1000 Free and 1650 Free, to go along with two fifth-place showings. He set his season-best time of 9:53.21 in the 1000 Free versus MPSF foe CSU Bakersfield, a mark that ranked third on the team. His time of 16:30.13 in the 1650 Free, set at the Arena Invitational, ranked fourth on the team.

High School:
Peters attended Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, Calif. He earned four letters in swimming for the Monarchs and was a three-time MVP. Outside of high school, Peters was a member of the Santa Clara Swim Club.

Personal:
Peters is the son of John and Jill Peters and has an older brother, John, an older sister, Jenni, and a twin sister, Julia. Peters is pursuing a degree in sports medicine.
