Biography

HighSchool:
A 2013 graduate of Mt. Carmel HS in San Diego, Calif., Evanwas a four-year letterwinner in swimming for the Sun Devils. WithTownsend in the pool, Mt. Carmel took home four-consecutive ValleyLeague titles as well as winning three-of-four CIF titles (2010,2011, 2013). In the pool, Evan posted record times of 49.10 in the100 Free while marking a 1:46.19 in the 200 Free.

Evan Townsend was born in Glen Ridge, N.J., and is the sonof Maureen and Walter Townsend. He has one younger brother,Vincent. He is pursuing a degree in mechanicalengineering.
