2014 (Redshirt Sophomore)
McKaig played in 23 games and tallied four goals on the season. Picked up his second career goal in the Tigers'' win over Claremont-Mudd-Scipps (Sept. 6) at the Triton Invitational, and added goals against #18 Navy (Sept. 27), #10 Princeton (Oct. 11), and #12 UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 21) at the MPSF Tournament. Named to both the MPSF and ACWPC All-Academic teams.

2012 (Freshman)
McKaig saw limited action during his first season at Pacific. He recorded his lone goal in the Tigers'' win over La Verne at the Aggie Shootout.
High School:
McKaig joins the Tigers out of Sammamish High School in Bellevue, Wash. He earned four letters in water polo for the Totems, guiding his team to a second-place finish at the state tournament as a junior and an undefeated season as a senior. He was a second-team all-state selection in 2010. Also an accomplished swimmer, McKaig was his team’s MVP and a second-team All-Kinco pick. He recorded three top-12 finishes in two appearances at the state meet, including a seventh-place finish in the 50 Free in 2011.
Club:
McKaig was a member of the PNW United Water Polo Club for four years. Under coach Tim Reed, McKaig led his squad to a third-place showing at the Pacific Winter Classic in San Diego in 2011, leading the tournament in goals scored. McKaig saw his team record two top-24 finishes in the Platinum Division at the USA Junior Olympics in 2010 while winning both the Rose Cup Tournament and the Spring Siesta Tournament.
Personal:
McKaig was born in Kirkland, Wash., and is the son of Bob and Dede McKaig. He has an older sister, Emily. In his free time, he enjoys wake surfing, skiing, playing video games, and playing indoor soccer. McKaig will pursue a degree in engineering and hopes to own his own business one day.
