High School
Attended Central Catholic High School in Modesto, where advanced through the local round of the 2017 USGA U.S. Open qualifying by finishing third with a one-under 70 at Granite Bay Golf & Country Club on May 18, 2017 to move on to the sectional qualifying in Newport Beach. placed second at the JGANC Tournament of Champions at Quail Lodge, posting a final round 72. He also won the Turlock Junior tournament in 2016 and the 2016 Caplin Memorial tournament. Ward finished third at the Central Valley Championships in 2016 at Diablo Grande.

Son of Andy and Lori. Has one sibling, AJ. Ward is majoring in business administration with a concentration in management.
