Biography

2016-17 (Senior): 
During his senior season, James played in all but one tournament for Pacific and averaged a 73.9 stroke average.  He finished the season shooting six rounds at or under par and also had one of the lowest scores of the season shooting a 68 and four under par at the West Coast Conference Championships.  His best finish of the season also came at the WCC championships where he finished tied for 11th.     

2015-16 (Junior): 
In his second year at Pacific, James played in one tournament where he was part of the Tigers'' scoring five at the Pacific Invitational in late October. Feutz would finish the tournament in 40th place notching his best round as a Tiger, 72, in the second go around the course.

2014-15 (Sophomore): 
James started playing with the Tigers in the spring of 2015 where he would play in one tournament for Pacific. He would make his debut at the Sacramento State Invitational where he would place 72nd.

Previous School (UNLV): 
Feutz joins the Tigers after two and a half years at UNLV. Feutz redshirted his first season with the Rebels before playing for the first time during the 2013-14 season. 

High School: 
A 2012 graduate of Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, Wash., Feutz had scoring averages of 71.6 as a freshman, 70.4 as a sophomore, 71.2 as a junior and 71.8 as a senior. He was the 2010 Washington State 4A Boys Champion and was an AJGA Champion. In 2009-10, James was named first team All-American Future Collegians World Tour (FCWT) in 2009-10. During his four-year run on varsity his team was 46-2 with a runner-up finish at state in 2010, a win in 2011 at state and another runner-up in 2012.


Personal: 
James J. Feutz is a native of  Tacoma, Washington and is the only child of Pat and Terri Feutz. He has a strong athletic background as his cousin played for the Oakland A''s and his father played college golf at Gonzaga. James is majoring in business.
