Biography
2015-16 (Senior):
Colten played in five tournaments in his final season for the Tigers while averaging 74.73 strokes per round. His best finish would come in his final collegiate tournament where he took home a 24th place finish at the WCC Championships.
2014-15 (Junior):
In his first season at Pacific, Colten played in three tournaments while making his debut as an individual at the Nick Watney Invitational where he finished tied for 29th. He would earn a spot in the full lineup a week later at the Ogio Utah Invitational and again play as an individual at the Pacific Invitational.
Previous School (American River JC):
Passey transferred to Pacific after two years at American River Junior College (ARC) in Sacramento, Calif. where he played one season of junior college golf as a standout for the Beavers. In 2012-13, Passey earned a spot in the Northern California Community College Golf Championships after leading the way for the Beavers at the Big 8 Championships.
High School:
Prior to his time at ARC, Passey prepped at Jim Elliot Christian High School where he earned three letters on the course for the Eagles. For his play on the course, Passey earned First Team All-Central California Athletic Alliance honors as well as earning Most Valuable Player recognition as a junior in 2010-11. He opted to focus strictly on basketball as a senior, foregoing his final year of golf in high school. Off the course and on the hardwood, Passey was a four-year starter for the Eagles as he earned all-league and MVP honors as his team''s point guard. He also played one season of basketball at ARC.
