Hohn returned home to Pacific inJanuary of 2012, rejoining the Pacific Athletic Department asPacific Golf's Assistant Coach. Hohn assists Head Coach Chris Hilland the Pacific Golf program with recruiting, player development,course management, physical training, and the day-to-day operationsof the program.
He took over the program midwaythrough the 2014 season as the interim head coach, guidingthen-junior Byron Meth to the individual WCC title. He returnedback to his assistant role at the end of the season to assist Hillwith the continued ascent of the program.
Prior to entering the collegiatecoaching ranks, Hohn was a Certified Master Clubfitter andClubmaker for Nakashima Golf Company. Hohn managed custom fittingstudios in Palm Desert, CA and Carlsbad, CA until December 2011.During his time in Southern California, Hohn also applied hisskills on the golf course playing professional golf.
Hohn’s most notedprofessional tournaments consisted of an exemption into the 2010Canadian Tour Desert Dunes Classic in Palm Springs, CA and the 2011Long Beach Open in Long Beach, CA. At the Long Beach Open, Hohn puttogether a four round total of 11-under par and finished t-18 withscores of 70-70-67-70, (-11) – 277 total.
One of the heaviest hitters inPacific Golf’s history off the tee, Hohn finished hiscollegiate career at Pacific, playing three seasons under former head coach Brandon Goethals. He finished his collegiateplaying career with two top-10 finishes in the final twotournaments of the 2008 spring season with a 9th placefinish at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational and a 10thplace finish at the Big West Conference Championship.
As a senior, Hohn was named theTiger’s Most Improved Player as he helped guide the programback to the upper echelon of the Big West Conference and settingthe table for the Tiger’s future success.
In May 2008, Hohn graduated fromPacific with a degree in business from the prestigious EberhardtSchool of Business.
Hohn currently resides in Stockton,CA and is from Lodi, CA.
