Biography
2009-10 (Junior):
Lakdawala made the first trip of his junior season, heading to the Firestone Invitational, where he posted a final roud 75 to finish 46th.
2008-09 (Sophomore):
Played in four tournaments for the Tigers during his sophomore season. Best finish came at the Oregon Duck Classic in Eugene. Shot a a71 to open the Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo, his low round of the season. Helped the Tigers to their first team win under Goethals at the Rice Intercollegiate.
Summer 2008:
Lakdawala had a busy summer soon after the 2008 academic year ended, he began with a 73-79 at the Lodi Amateur at Lockeford Springs in early May and posted a 78 at the US Open Qualifier at Del Rio Country Club in May. He then shot back to back rounds of 77 at the Memorial Amateur on May 24-25, hosted at Sacramento's Ancil Hoffman. Lakdawala then took part in the US Public Links Qualifer on June 28-29. He carded rounds of 74-73 at Haggin Oaks in Sacramento.
2007-08:
REDSHIRTED
Summer 2007:
Lakdawala returned to his home country of United Arab Emirates this past summer, playing in six tournaments during his three month break from school. He finished 11th at the Dubai Creek Championship, sixth at the Emirates Golf Club Open and second at the Arabian Ranches Open. He missed the cut at the Northern Indian Amateur but came back to finish fifth at the Dubai Creek Open and third at the Dubai Creek Medal.
2006-07 (Freshman):
Lakdawala played in four tournaments during his first spring season as a Tiger, opening with a 221 at the UH Hilo Intercollegiate in February. Bayhaan was back in the lineup a month later, playing in the Fresno Lexus Classic and the Western Intercollegiate; finishing tied for 68th at both tournaments. His best tournament of his young college career came when in mattered the most, at the Big West Championship in April. Lakdawala shot a final round 70 to propel the Tigers to a third place conference finish. His two-under par score enroute to a combined 225 gave him a 25th place finish.
High School:
Bayhaan attended Bradenton Academy in Florida where he was the 2004 State runner-up and won the Coaches Choice award in 2004-05. He was a member of the UAE National team from 2000 to 2004 and won the UAE Golf Association Gold Award in 2002. Lakdawala won the "Best Etiquette" award in 2001 and 2002 as well as the "Lowest Putting Average" award in 2001. He was UAE's Junior Order of Merit runner-up in 2002. Bayhaan also participated in soccer, basketball, cricket, swimming and soccer at Dubai Scholars High School.
