2022 (Junior) 
Thomas Gavello went in the 13th round to the San Francisco Giants. Gavello joins the Giants after leading the Tigers in various categories. He will likely join the Rookie-level affiliate of the San Francisco Giants as a part of the Arizona Complex League.

Led the Tigers in multiple categories, including home runs (11), RBI (31), extra-base hits (24), total bases (92) and walks (33). Gavello was tied for third in the WCC in home runs and was eighth in extra base hits. Was named to the Perfect Game All-WCC team and the D1Baseball Preseason Top 50 Third Basemen list. Had 10 muli-hit games and 10 muli-RBI games. Drove in three runs on three hits against Cal (4/26). Had four games with multiple extra-base hits. 

2021 (Sophmore) 
First Team All-WCC and WCC All-Freshman infielder played 50 games for the Tigers in the 2021 season. Gavello recorded a batting average of .335, 1.059 OPS, .601 slugging percentage and .458 on-base-percentage. Racked up 58 hits including 12 doubles, 2 triples, 10 homeruns, 28 runs batted in, 104 total bases and 21 walks with 18 hit-by-pitches. Defensively, landed a fielding percentage of .924 with 132 catches, 43 putouts and 16 double plays. In conference, finished 3rd in runs (43), 6th in hit by pitches (11) 3rd in on base percentage (.458), 3rd in total bases (104), 4th in slugging percentage (.601), 5th in extra base hits (24), 6th in homeruns (10), and 9th in batting average (.335). Marked a season high of 4 hits including 2 doubles against Pepperdine (05/28), 2 home runs including 4 runs batted in against Saint Mary’s College (04/23/2021), three runs scored against Stanford (04/28) and 5 putouts against UNLV (04/09).

2020 (Freshman)
Appeared in 10 games his freshman year with six starts, racking up five hits, four RBIs and five total bases in 22 at-bats. Recorded a .227 slugging percentage and a .227 batting average. Tallied a season-high three RBIs and a run against Fresno State (3/11). In the field, ranked fourth on the team with 17 assists and contributed seven putouts while committing just three errors for an .889 fielding percentage. Also turned five double plays and caught two runners stealing.

High School
Named a 2018 EBAL First Team All-League honoree his junior year at Monte Vista High School in Danville, California, also selected as team MVP. Named to the 2017 EBAL Honorable Mention team as a sophomore. Won the team infield award his senior year.
