2017: Played in 18 games making one start in her junior campaign. Tallied two points against #20 Harvard (Sept. 2) and UMass Lowell (Sept. 10) with one goal in each game. Notched five shots on the season.
2016 (Sophomore):
Dempsey doubled her scoring output with two goals on her nine shots as a sophomore. Both of those goals came against Dartmouth to give Dempsey her first multi-goal game, helping Pacific to the 6-1 win. Her first goal in that game proved the game-winner as well.
2015 (Freshman):
Dempsey started one game as a freshman and appeared in 16. She scored her first ever college goal against Missouri State, putting Pacific up 2-0 in what would become a 4-3 victory. It was the only shot of the season for Dempsey.
High School:
The team captain and leading scorer in 2014, Taylor played for Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Calif., before coming to Pacific. She was named team MVP her freshman year and All-League her junior year. In addition, she was an Honor Roll student.
Taylor’s club team, Infinity Field Hockey, was the 2014 champions in the Stanford Indoor Tournament, the University of the Pacific 7v7 Tournament, and the Indoor-Foolsfest.
Personal:
The daughter of Jim and Tina Dempsey, Taylor hails from San Martin, Calif. Taylor likes to run, hike, and participate in crossfit. She also enjoys camping and snowboarding. She has two older siblings: Jonerik and JJ, as well as one younger sibling: Jamie. Taylor plans to major in Health, Exercise, and Sports Science with the hope of becoming an orthopedic physician’s assistant.
