Biography

2013 (Sophomore): Schuette saw action in two games, registering two shots against UC Davis on October 18 and seeing the field against Michigan on October 26.

2012 (Freshman): Schuette was sidelined for the first half of the season due to injury, but appeared in all of the Tigers final 11 contests. She earned two starts the first coming against Central Michigan and the second at home against Stanford.

High School:
Schuette was a four-year letterman for the Bear Creek Mustangs in Lakewood, Colo. and led her team to a 14-2 record her senior season of 2010. In that year she was her team''s captain, while scoring 14 goals and notching 13 assists. Schuette was named the MVP of her team in her final two seasons with Bear Creek, and wasnamed First Team All-State and All-Conference in 2010. Her field hockey squad reached the state final in 2007 and went as far as the semi-finals in 2009 and 2010.  In 2009, she was Second-Team All-State and All-Conference for the Mustangs.

Personal: Micaela is the daughter of Paul and Cheryl Schuette. She has older siblings Micah and Mariah. Off the hockey field she enjoys wake surfing, skiing, soccer, hiking, painting, photography and traveling.
