Biography

2017 (Junior):
Started all 19 games as a midfielder for Pacific. Tallied one shot on goal and one assist in the Tigers'' match and rout of UMass Lowell (Sept. 10).

2016 (Sophomore):
The Belgium native was a brick wall as a defensive midfielder for the Tigers, appearing in all 21 games to make it 40 games in her first two years in Stockton.  Van Lathem helped the Tigers to a program-record 4.4 goals per game, the second-highest scoring mark in the nation.

2015 (Freshman):
Van Lathem was named to the America East All-Freshman Team after her first season with the Tigers during which she started 17 games.  Van Lathem was a rock for the team, playing great defense and regularly helping to start the attack with impressive passes and a strong possession game.

High School:
Justine has played for the Royal Victory Hockey Club since 2006.  Her club finished second in Belgian national U16 field hockey and first in Belgian national U15 indoor hockey.

Justine spent four years playing for the Belgian National U15, U16, and U18 teams.  She participated in the 5 Nations U16 Tournament in Germany. 

Personal:
A native of Antwerpen, Belgium, Justine is the daughter of Karl Van Lathem and Dominque Caeymaex.  Justine has one sister and two brothers: Amandine, Henri-Max, and Casimir.  Casimir also plays field hockey, having participated in the 2014 interprovincial youth championship.  Justine loves to travel as much as she can and as far as she can.  She also enjoys inline skating.
