Biography

2016 (Junior):
Muiños tripled her previous career-high in goals in 2016 with 12 goals, reaching a new best with 28 points as well.  Muiños also matched her assist output of the last two years combined with four this season.  She recorded Pacific''s 12th hat trick in program history when she scored three goals against Saint Louis.  The Spainard had two other multi-goal games, coming against UC Davis both on the road and at home.  She was named to the America East All-Conference Team for her efforts, which included the sixth-most goals in a single season in pacific history and the sixth most total points as well.

2015 (Sophomore):
Muiños started every game for Pacific, joining Savannah Burns, Ali Campos, and Laura Pujade as the only Tigers to do so.  She scored three goals and added two assists on the season.  Muiños scored against Bryant and Missouri State as well adding a goal and an assist against UC Davis.  After the season, Muiños was named to the America East''s All-Conference Second Team.

2014 (Freshman):
Alicia Muiños played in all 20 games with 18 starts in her first year with the Tigers. She finished third on the team in goals with four and third in scoring with 10 points. She picked up her first career goal and points with a goal and an assist in a win over Central Michigan (Sept. 18). Added her second goal of the year in a 3-2 win over UC Davis (Oct. 18) and scored twice on four shots in the Tigers'' NorPac consolation round win over Appalachian State (Nov. 6). Muiños tied for the team lead with a pair of game-winning goals, notching the clinching goal in wins over Central Michigan (Sept. 18) and Appalachian State (Nov. 6). Her performance at the NorPac Championship earned her All-Tournament team accolades.

In international competition, Muiños has seen action at the U16 level for Spain, garnering a second position finish at the U16 Four Nations Tournament and a third place finish at the EuroHockey Youth Championships.

Muiños came to the Tigers from Barcelona, Spain, where she was a member of the Real Club de Polo Barcelona or RCPB for eight years. Her club accolades included a third position finish in the Regional League Honor Division and a fifth position finish at the U16 Spanish Championships.

Personal:
Alicia is the daughter of Alfredo and Ana Muiños. When not playing field hockey, Alicia enjoys motocross, sailing, drawing and making videos. Her mother was a Spanish national finalist in Handball.
