Summer (2014):
Tyler finished the summer as the top position play in the Northwoods League after being named an all-star while playing for the Mankato MoonDogs. Sullivan finished the season batting .356 with league-best 103 hits and 70 runs scored. He stole a league-best 39 bases while on the basepaths.
Junior (2014):
The top leadoff hitter in the WCC in his third season as a Tiger, Tyler finished the year hitting .315 in 53 games as he posted 68 hits in 216 at bats. He posted 16 RBI while scoring a team-best 43 runs while going 11-for-15 on the basepaths to set the table for the Tigers'' big bats. Overall, Sullivan finished the year with a team-high 23 multi-hit games including six three-hit performances. He tied his career-best with three runs scored at Portland on May 10 in Pacific''s 6-1 victory in game-one of a doubleheader. In centerfield, Sullivan was the Tigers'' most reliable glove as he patrolled nearly half the grass for Pacific''s outfield.
Sophomore (2013):
In his second season Sullivan established himself as the Tigers'' starting centerfielder and primary leadoff hitter. He started all 53 games during the year for Pacific and finished with a .292 batting average, second best on the team. He recorded 57 hits in 195 at bats while posting a .365 on-base percentage after tallying a team high 20 walks while and three HBP. He tied for the team lead with 12 doubles while also recording two triples and his first collegiate home run which came in the Tigers'' 14-13 win over UC Irvine on April 20. In addition to his home run, Sullivan went 3-for-5 against the Anteaters while posting a career-best five RBI and three runs scored in the win. His 14 multi-hit games led the way for the Tigers with his best performance coming in a 4-for-5 effort against Long Beach State on April 7 in game in which he also recorded three runs scored. On the basepaths Sullivan led the team with nine stolen bases.
Freshman (2012):
Started 32 games in the outfield and appeared in nine more off the bench. Hit .218 on the year with a .328 on base percentage. Scored 14 runs on the year while driving in eight. Walked 16 times and was hit by pitch another two times to reach base 30 times in 41 games. Posted five multi-hit games, including a career-best three with a 3-for-4 day against UC Santa Barbara (April 21). Went two-for-two with a double, an RBI and a run scored against Brown (March 26).
High School:
A 2011 graduate of Lincoln High in Stockton, Sullivan earned three letters for coach Everett Ray. Named All-League as a sophomore and junior. Did not play due to injury in his senior campaign. Earned CIF All-Academic honors.
Personal:
Tyler Michael Sullivan... Son of Mike and Kris Sullivan. His younger brother Brett joined the Tigers in 2012-13. His father Mike played baseball and football at Sacramento State. Majoring in Communication.
