Biography

Junior (2013):
Missed the first half of the season before making twoappearances late in the season against UC Davis. He picked up onehit in two at bats.

Sophomore(2012):
Started 29 games at four different positions (catcher, second base,first base and designated hitter). Second on the team with a .321batting average, which ranked 17th in the Big West. Finished witheight doubles and a triple for a .415 slugging percentage. Drove in17 runs, fifth on the team. Collected a hit in 22 of 30 games,including an 11-game hit streak from March 16 to March 30. Posted a .407 on-base percentage and reached base safely in 22straight games from February 24 to May 18. Turned in 10 multi-hitgames, including a pair of three-hit games. Clubbed a pair ofdoubles against San Diego on Feb. 24. Drove in three againstSacramento State on Feb. 28. Went three-for-five against Creighton(Mar. 9) and Sacramento State (Mar. 20). Missed 23 games afterbeing hit by a pitch at UC Irvine on April 1 and breaking a bone inhis hand.

Freshman(2011):
Appeared in eight games with two starts as a freshman, one each atcatcher and second base. Made nine trips to the plate including asacrifice bunt against San Jose State (May 10). Made his Tigersdebut on March 13 at Nevada, starting at catcher. Entered as adefensive replacement at catcher on March 25 against San Francisco.Pinch-ran and remained in the game at first base at UC Riverside(April 8). His final three appearances were as a pinch-hittter.Still looking for first hit (0-8).

High School:
A two-year letterwinner at second and third base for Granite BayHigh School in Granite Bay, Calif…  Hit .455 with a.500 OBP and .818 slugging percentage. Also posted a 1.000 fieldingpercentage… As a senior, he hit .409 with 28 runs batted into earn First Team All-League honors as well as All-Metro HonorableMention and All-City honors… Helped the Grizzlies toback-to-back second place finishes in the Sierra Foothill Leagueunder head coach Pat Esposito.
