Biography

Freshman (2017):
Allen appeared in 19 games during his first year for the Tigers recording seven at-bats and five runs. In the outfield, he finished the season with a perfect fielding percentage proving to be a strong defensive option for Pacific. Allen also made an appearance on the mound against Seattle pitching one inning allowing one hit and striking out two batters. 

High School:
Allen played for Archbishop Riordan out of his native San Francisco in high school.  He was on the varsity team all four years, winning All-League Honorable Mention honors as a freshman and All-League Second Team honors his senior year.  During that final season, Allen hit .341/.438/.414 in 17 games.  He scored 11 runs that year in just 49 plate appearances.  Allen was also on the scholar honor roll all four years of his high school career.

Personal:
Allen is the son of William and Dolores Allen.  He has one older brother, Jalen.  His mother ran track at Cal.  His cousin, Jarred Frierson, played baseball for UNLV and his uncle, Mike Frierson, played for Cal Poly and the Seattle Mariners.  Allen is majoring in communication here at Pacific.  He enjoys long walks on the beach in his free time.
