In his four years with the Tigers, Gonzalez had a career 6.47 ERA and a 3-2 record. He pitched 57 innings and gave up only two home runs. He strukout a total of 52 batters and averaged 8.21 strikeouts per nine innings.
Senior (2017):
Gonzalez appeared in 18 games as a member of the bullpen for the Tigers. Finished the season with a 5.23 ERA and averaged 6.97 strikeouts per nine innings.
Summer (2016):
A part of the Kalamazoo Growlers, Gonzalez picked up a save and five strikeouts in his 4.1 innings of work over the summer.
Junior (2016):
Gonzalez ended the year with 12 appearances without an earned run and just one earned run in his last 14. He had a 5.01 ERA on the season and a 4.38 ERA in the WCC. Gonzalez pitched a career-high 23.1 innings and struck out 28 batters for a 10.80 K/9 mark. Gonzalez''s second career win came on April 17 with two perfect innings of relief against Portland.
Sophomore (2015):
In his second season, Gonzalez pitched in four games as he threw 3.2 innings while earning one midweek start. In all, he tallied two strike outs on the year, picking up both against Gonzaga on May 9 in Spokane, Wash.
Freshman (2014):
Gonzalez appeared in five games on the year including a pair of Tuesday starts for the Tigers in his first year. He picked up his first collegiate victory against Fresno State as he went 5.0 innings and gave up four hits and three runs in Pacific''s 6-4 victory. Overall, he struck out six in 9.1 innings pitched on the year.
High School:
Gonzalez graduated from Pitman High School in Turlock, Calif. Posted a pair of wins and a 3.41 ERA in 26 innings (striking out 23) before his season was cut short with an injury as a junior. As a senior, he went 5-2 with a 1.32 ERA in 14 appearances. In 68 innings pitched, he tallied 101 strikeouts while allowing hitters to post just a .120 average against. At the plate he posted a .300 average with 17 hits, 12 RBI, 10 walks, and only 10 strikeouts. Gonzalez earned team MVP honors as a sophomore.
High School:
The son of Ramon and Jody Gonzalez, Jordon has two older siblings, Melissa and Nathan. He is majoring in psychology at Pacific.
