Summer (2014):
Jaeger threw for the East Texas Pump Jacks in the Texas Collegiate League over the summer. He posted a 3-1 record in 16 games, including five starts, while throwing a team-high 61.1 innings. For the summer, Jaeger gave up a 2.20 ERA as he allowed just 15 earned runs while striking out 49 batters.
Freshman (2014):
In his first year as a Tiger, Jaeger assumed Pacific''s closer role midway through the year and ran with it as he came up with five saves and a 2-1 record in 21 appearances. He picked up his first collegiate win in relief on Feb. 15 against Gonzaga as he threw a scoreless inning in a 9-5 win for the Tigers. Taking the closer role on Apr. 12 at San Francisco, Jaeger shutdown a ninth inning rally by the Dons to preserve Pacific''s 12-9 win, earning him his first collegiate save. He would proceed to save four games in a span of five contests to solidify his role.
High School:
Played three years of varsity baseball at Tracy High School where he was a two-time San Joaquin Athletic Associations MVP. In three seasons, Jaeger and the Bulldogs won the league title once (2012) and finished runner-up twice. He completed his career with a program record 24 career wins. As a senior, he finished the year with nine wins and a 0.32 ERA. At the plate, Jaeger led the team with a .395 average while posting 34 hits , 17 runs, and 19 RBI.
