High School:
Galeno graduated from Auburn Riverside High School in Auburn, Wash. in 2014. He was a two-sport standout as he earned all-league honors in both baseball and football while earning three letters in each of the sports. On the diamond, Galeno was named to the senior all-star game in 2014 after hitting .311 with 11 RBI and 11 runs scored. The year prior, Galeno dominated Puget Sound pitching as he posted a .448 average while posting 17 RBI to go along with six doubles and one home run. The run production matched his first varsity season of play when he posted 17 RBI on .400 hitting in 24 games as a sophomore. For his career, Galeno hit .380 to go along with a .436 on-base percentage. Academically, Galeno was a standout in the classroom as he finished his high school career with a perfect 4.0 GPA while earning six academic letters.
