2022 (Junior) 
Hunter Hayes went in the 16th round to the St. Louis Cardinals. Hayes will likely join one of the Cardinals Rookie League teams in the Florida Complex League, Dominican Summer League, or the Single-A Palm Beach Cardinals. Hayes was one of 13 pitchers selected by the Cardinals. 

Led the Tigers in multiple categories including games started (14), innings pitched (64.2) and strikeouts (55). Had a season high nine strikeouts against CSU Bakersfield (3/12) in 5.2 innings while only walking one. Had four games with five or more strikeouts. Pitched five or more innings in eight games. 

2021 (Sophomore)
Made 13 appearances, including 10 starts in his first season with the Tigers. Struck out 44 while giving up 33 walks. Was in the WCC rotation several times, including the series with Saint Mary's, Portland, San Diego, Loyola Marymount and Santa Clara. Had a season-best eight strikeouts in 4.1 innings in his start against the Gaels. Pitched well in relief in the last series against Pepperdine, going 5.0 innings, giving up two runs on two hots, while striking out seven in the 13-6 loss. Was the starter in the 14-10 win over Fresno State, going the first four innings, giving up four runs, three earned and striking out six.

High School
Comes to Pacific from Folsom Lake College. Enjoyed a stellar career at Casa Roble High School in Orangevale, Calif. as the pitcher/outfielder earned Honorable Mention honors in 2018 before being chosen as an All-Golden Empire League selection in 2019 after leading his team in strikeouts with 84 and finishing with a .324 batting average, 0.79 ERA and .840 fielding percentage.
