Junior (2013):
Starting 53 games in 2013, Lockwood hit .304 on the yearto lead the Tigers, with 19 runs batted in, 23 runs scored and 12doubles. Collected 13 multi-hit games, including four games withthree this and a four-hit game against Hawai''i. With 17 walks,Lockwood finished with a .376 on base percentage and reached basesafely in 43 of 53 games. Also appeared in a pair of gamesout of the bullpen, with two shutout innings. Made one spot startagainst Stanford to finish with an 0-1 record.
Sophomore(2012):
Hit .352 on the season, leading Pacific and ranking third in theBig West. His .352 average was second in the NCAA among freshmen.Ranked 10th in the Big West in slugging with a .352 percentage. Ledthe Tigers in batting average, slugging, on-base percentage, runsbatted in, and hit by pitch. Posted 12 doubles and a home run for a.442 slugging percentage. Waked 12 times and was hit six times fora .411 OBP. Led the team with 19 multi-hit games including fourgames with three hits each.
Homered and singled in a 2-for-3 day against Creighton on March11). Tallied five-straight multi-hit games from March 24 to March30. Went 9-for-16 with two doubles and five RBI in a series againstBrown (March 24-26). Was 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runsscored in game one against Brown (March 24). Put up a 3-for-3 daywith an RBI against UC Irvine (March 30). Was 3-for-5 with a pairof RBI against Nevada (April 2). Posted two RBI with a 3-for-5 dayincluding a double against Santa Clara (May 15). Also pitched oneinning, giving up a hit while facing four batters at Nevada onApril 24. Retired the side on 14 pitches.
Freshman(2011):
Lockwood appeared in three games before his season was cut shortdue to injury, resulting in a medical redshirt. Went one-for-fourwith a walk in five plate appearances. Hit .250 with a singled andone walk. Picked up a hit in his debut, a pinch-hit single againstKansas State on Feb. 26. Started at DH on Feb. 27 against WesternKentucky. Pinch-hit, walked and scored in his final game of theyear, on March 13 against Nevada.
High School:
A four-year varsity player at pitcher, outfield and first base, forBroomfield High School in Colorado, Lockwood was a two-timeAll-State selection and four-year All-Conference honoree…During Lockwood’s junior season, he was named a 4A All-Statepitcher by the Denver Post and also claimed First Team All-NorthernLeague honors after striking out 12 of 16 batters faced in thefive-inning district championship game that ended via mercy ruleand earned Broomfield a No. 1 seed. In 2009, Broomfield finished21-3 with a 21-game winning streak after dropping theseason-opener, before falling in the double-elimination statechampionship tournament.
